Warehouse Operative (255jc) - Bracknell – up to £25k + Benefits

This client initially started in the lighting sector and have now rapidly expanded into the decarbonisation and net zero sector and are now seeking a dynamic Warehouse Operative to join their team.

DUE TO THE NATURE OF THIS RECRUITMENT CONSULTANCY, WE ARE ONLY ABLE TO REPRESENT INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE EX MILITARY.

You will be reporting to the Head of Logistics and Warehouse as well as a Warehouse Manager and your role will be to maintain the logistics function of this fast-growing company, that have in the last 6 months doubled their number from 50 to 100 personnel.

Your principal duties will include:
• Ensure stock accuracy and maintain warehouse processes.
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Receiving stock deliveries and updating Mintsoft within 24 hours
• Picking orders and arranging transport, when required
• Updating Mintsoft computer software
• Binning returns and adjusting Mintsoft within 24 hours of delivery
• Ensure stocks are neat and tidy and always remain topped up.
• Ensure stock is clearly labelled and identified.
• Maintain cleanliness of warehouse and external areas
• Safety checks are carried out to their agreed frequencies.
• 5% of goods from China are tested and logged.

Your Key Performance Indicators will include:
• Clear aisles in the warehouse
• Keeping the floors and yard clean and tidy.
• Stocks stacked neatly on the pallets.
• No returns awaiting processing.

To be eligible for this role you will need some warehouse experience, be physical fit and holding a forklift licence would also be highly desirable, however training will be given.
